The Competition Board has initiated an investigation into Apple, Destek Bilişim, Easycep Bilişim, Getmobil Teknoloji, and HB Bilişim for allegedly coordinating prices. In a statement, the Competition Authority noted that the investigation is focused on determining whether Apple Technology and Sales Limited Company (APPLE), engaged in sales and distribution activities in Turkey, violated Article 4 of Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by intervening in the resale price of resellers. The investigation aims to determine whether Apple coordinated resale prices and/or campaign conditions for Apple-branded products and the buy-back prices applied by companies operating in the buy-back market, with the involvement of the mentioned companies during a meeting held on 27.02.2025. Consequently, Apple, Destek Bilişim Proje ve Servis Hizmetleri Sanayi Dış Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, Easycep Bilişim ve Ticaret AŞ, Getmobil Teknoloji AŞ, and HB Bilişim Teknolojileri Sanayi Tic. AŞ are now under investigation in accordance with Article 41 of Law No. 4054 under decision number 25-08/184-M(1).
