Savings finance companies have been included in the scope of organizations concerning public interest. It has been decided that savings finance companies subject to regulation and supervision by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) will be included in the category of “organizations concerning public interest” (OCPI). The Board Decision of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority on the matter has been published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, it has been decided to include savings finance companies subject to regulation and supervision by BRSA under the OCPI category in accordance with the provisions of the Financial Leasing, Factoring, Finance and Savings Finance Companies Law.
