In the global markets, following the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump that a 25% import tax would be applied to all non-U.S.-produced automobiles in the U.S., a mixed trend stood out, with focus now turning to the U.S. growth data to be released today. Additionally, Turkey’s Central Bank President Fatih Karahan stated yesterday that they are taking every necessary step proactively while staying within market rules and will continue to do so, saying, “We use our tools effectively to ensure the stable functioning of the markets. We keep our two-way communication channels constantly open.” Analysts noted that from a technical perspective, 9,900 and 10,000 levels are resistance points for the BIST 100 index, while 9,750 and 9,600 points serve as support.
