Two celestial events to occur simultaneously

1 Mins Read

The Royal Observatory in the UK has announced that two celestial events will occur simultaneously this week.

According to officials from the Royal Observatory, a “supermoon” and a partial solar eclipse known as the “devil’s horn” will coincide on the night of March 29. The Moon will reach its closest position to Earth, appearing bright and large as a supermoon. At the same time, a partial solar eclipse will occur as the Moon partially passes in front of the Sun in the Northern Hemisphere, creating the phenomenon known as the “devil’s horn.” Astronomers have noted that this rare celestial event presents a significant opportunity especially for photographers and astronomy enthusiasts.
