Some immovables will be urgently expropriated for energy projects in various cities of Turkey. President’s decisions regarding urgent expropriation in the energy sector have been published in the Official Gazette. According to this, some immovables in the context of “154 kV Acıbadem Eskişehir GES TM-Eskişehir OSB TM Energy Transmission Line Project” in Eskişehir and “154 kV Dampınar RES TM-Nezihe Beren JES TM Energy Transmission Line Project” in Aydın will be urgently expropriated by the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation General Directorate as property rights for pole locations and easement rights for conductor transmission lines. Furthermore, it has been decided that some immovables in Konya and Niğde will be urgently expropriated by the Turkish Electricity Distribution Corporation General Directorate as property rights for electricity distribution facility locations and easement rights for line safety zones for the purpose of constructing energy transmission lines.
