Holiday Preparations in Tourism: High Demand for Early Bookings

Preparations for the holiday season in tourism are ongoing. Hotel occupancy rates are expected to reach up to 80% during the holiday. There is also a high demand for early bookings from abroad. The holiday season in tourism is expected to be busy. With less than two weeks left until the Ramadan holiday, this year’s school break coincides with the festivities. Students will go on break on March 31st and return to school on April 4th. This situation has increased expectations in the domestic market. The current 30% occupancy rate is expected to reach the 80’s. This month, one out of ten hotels in tourism regions is open for service… From the middle of next month, all facilities will be open. Industry officials point out that the demand for holidays from abroad is higher compared to last year. There has been a 10% increase in early bookings. It is noted that due to earthquakes, demand has decreased for Greek islands and interest in Turkey has increased.
