A lantern fish got caught in the net of fishermen in the Black Sea. The fish is being put up for sale at 500 liras per kilo by a fisherman in the Perşembe district. This lantern fish, weighing around 6.5 kilograms, is a rare sight in the Black Sea as it is usually found in the Mediterranean and Aegean. Fisherman Özay Çakır mentioned that they suspect the fish came from the Marmara Sea to the Black Sea. Customers have shown interest in the fish on his stand, priced at 500 liras per kilogram, and he stated that he would sell the whole fish for 3,250 liras.
