Following the start of US air strikes in Yemen, US President Donald Trump warned the Iranian government. In response to Trump’s statements, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards issued threats. President Donald Trump ordered strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen. He warned Iran to cut support to the group, saying “Support for Houthi terrorists must be immediately stopped. America will hold you fully accountable, and we will not be gentle about it.” Iranian Revolutionary Guards Commander Hossein Salami responded to Trump on Sunday, stating that they will give a “decisive and destructive” response to any attack. In a televised statement after the deadly US air strikes in Yemen, Salami said, “Iran will not start a war, but if threatened, it will respond appropriately, decisively, and destructively.”
