In a airstrike by Israel on the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, 5 people have died. It has been confirmed that 2 of the deceased were journalists.
As Hamas leaders engage in ceasefire talks with mediators in Cairo, health officials informed Reuters that Israel targeted the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.
At least five Palestinians, including two local journalists, were killed in the attack, with others wounded. Health officials also noted that the attack caused significant injuries to many individuals both inside and outside a vehicle hit during the strike. Witnesses and fellow journalists reported that the individuals in the vehicle were on duty for the Al-Khair Foundation in Beit Lahiya and were accompanied by journalists and photographers when they came under attack.
