WHAT IS VAT REFUND? Value Added Tax, or VAT, is a type of tax that businesses in Turkey pay for the goods and services they purchase. VAT is calculated based on the value of goods or services. Businesses pay this tax based on the value of goods or services they purchase and then pass on this cost to the consumer. VAT refund is a process that allows businesses to reclaim the VAT they have paid under certain conditions. This process provides businesses with the opportunity to alleviate the burden of VAT.
