The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul rose by 0.57% in the first half of the day, reaching 10,481.58 points.

Moving in an upward trend in the first half of the day, the BIST 100 index rose to 10,481.58 points, with an increase of 59.34 points and 0.57% compared to the previous close as of 13:00. The total trading volume was 60.7 billion Turkish lira. While the banking index lost 0.86% in value, the holding index gained 0.4%. Among sector indices, the most profitable was financial leasing factoring with 4.96%, while the biggest loser was textiles and leather with 0.85%. In global markets, there is a mixed trend due to increasing tensions in trade with the US tariffs and signals from economic data strengthening recession concerns. Analysts noted that the domestic data agenda is calm in the afternoon, while in the US, the JOLTS job openings will be followed, and technically, the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 10,500 and 10,600 points, with support at 10,400 and 10,300 levels.
