The Competition Authority has initiated a competition inquiry against some technology retailers, including Teknosa. The inquiry aims to determine whether there has been a violation of Article 4 of Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition (directly or indirectly hindering, distorting, or restricting competition) involving certain technology retailers, including Teknosa, and a supplier. A statement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by Teknosa announced that the investigation decision had been communicated to the company. The statement clarified that the initiation of an investigation by the Competition Authority does not automatically imply that the companies in question have violated the law or will face punitive measures. It was mentioned that developments related to the process will be shared with the public under the Capital Market Legislation framework. On the other hand, yesterday saw the launch of an investigation into retail companies such as BIM, Migros, Sok Markets, and Carrefoursa.
