At least 300 families were evacuated from their homes, with reports indicating that 30,000 people are at risk of evacuation. Considered one of the world’s most active volcanoes, the eruption at the Fuego Volcano in Guatemala began on Sunday night, leading to the evacuation of 300 families living in hazardous areas. Following the eruption, which took place approximately 50 kilometers southwest of the capital Guatemala City, spewing lava and a cloud of ash were captured by amateur cameras, while officials disclosed that 30,000 people are faced with the risk of evacuation. So far, no casualties have been reported, with many schools suspending classes as a precaution and hazardous roads being closed to vehicle traffic.
