One of the world’s largest electronics manufacturers, Foxconn, has released the first major artificial intelligence language model. The supplier for Apple, Foxconn, made a significant move in artificial intelligence. The company announced that it has launched the first major language model, stating that it plans to use the technology to improve production and supply chain management. The world’s largest contract electronics manufacturer revealed that it used Nvidia’s 120 H100 graphics processing units in the model named FoxBrain. The process was said to be completed in about four weeks. It was noted that it is the first major language model optimized for traditional Chinese and Taiwanese language styles. Foxconn mentioned that although there is a slight performance difference compared to China’s DeepSeek model, the overall performance is very close to international standards. Initially designed for internal applications, FoxBrain includes data analysis, decision support, document collaboration, mathematics, reasoning, problem solving, and code generation. Foxconn also noted that it received support from the Taipei-1 supercomputer. Taipei-1, the largest supercomputer in Taiwan, is operated by Nvidia in the southern city of Kaohsiung on the island.
