The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry provides fuel and fertilizer support to support farmers. Here are the latest developments regarding the payments… As part of the farmer support payments, the wheat support, animal genetic resources support, and rural development investment support payments have been deposited into the accounts. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Ibrahim Yumaklı, announced on his social media account that a total of 3 billion 299 million 386 thousand 344 lira has been transferred to the accounts. Checking fuel and fertilizer support payments can be done by accessing the “Farmer Registry System” screen online. Support payments are deposited into cards defined by Ziraat Bank. Farmers can only use this card when purchasing fuel and fertilizers. So, when will the fuel and fertilizer support for March 2025 be deposited? Payments deposited as part of the farmer support vary in dates according to the provinces. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry completed the wheat support, animal genetic resources, and rural development investment payments in the first week of March. However, as of March 10, farmer support payments have not yet been deposited into accounts. Last month, the payments were deposited on the 21st. It is expected that fuel and fertilizer support payments will also be deposited on the 21st of this month. Details will be added when the ministry makes an official statement about the payments. Fuel and fertilizer support payments are not given in cash. Beneficiaries receive these payments through the cards provided to farmers by Ziraat Bank. Farmers can only use these payments in the purchase of fuel and fertilizers. Those registered in the Farmer Registry System can check the payments by using their T.C. identity number and passwords via the e-Government. Alternatively, they can check the payments through Ziraat Bank customer services. Farmers who wish to benefit from fuel, fertilizer support, and soil analysis support must first register in the farmer registry system. Then, they must submit their application letter to the Provincial/District Directorates they are registered with in the specified periods. Those with parcels of 50 decares and above must have soil analysis done at authorized laboratories to be able to receive fertilizer support. If farmers own land in more than one district, they must apply to the district/provincial directorate of the province they reside in.
