The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced the lifting of travel bans imposed on Syrians during the deposed Baath regime. As part of this, 5,164,440 travel bans were canceled. According to a written statement from the Syrian Ministry of Interior’s Telegram channel, the 5,164,440 travel ban notifications issued by the army, security forces, National Security Office, and the Baath Party during the deposed Baath regime have been revoked. These notifications were issued during the regime period for those subjected to detention, application, compulsory or reserve military service decisions. The Immigration and Passport Authority has been tasked with implementing the relevant decision.
