2 Mins Read

Turkey’s rotary-wing UAVs ALPİN and DUMRUL are taking the stage in the US. Unmanned helicopters will be displayed at VERTICON 2025 in Dallas, one of the world’s largest exhibitions. The event aims to bring together innovations and professionals in vertical aviation such as advanced air mobility, unmanned aerial systems, and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) vehicles, expecting over 15,000 industry professionals and 600 participating companies.
VERTICON will focus on cargo and logistics solutions, showcasing technologies tailored to the industry’s needs. The manufacturing company will participate in the exhibition with models of DUMRUL and ALPİN.
DUMRUL, a silent helicopter powered by an electric motor, has a takeoff weight of 17-18 kilograms and can stay airborne for up to 30 minutes. Designed for short-range surveillance, DUMRUL can effectively neutralize targets with integrated weapon systems and imaging capabilities. Developed according to user needs, the aircraft was designed for effective weapon use in short-range operations. DUMRUL is getting ready for its first mission.
The unmanned helicopter ALPİN can stay in the air for up to 9 hours thanks to an extended fuel tank. With a payload capacity exceeding 200 kilograms, ALPİN enables the safe transportation of various equipment and materials in military and civilian operations. The helicopter, with fully autonomous takeoff and landing capabilities, can fulfill programmed tasks thanks to its ability to fly on predetermined routes. ALPİN has entered the inventory of Turkey’s security forces as the country’s first indigenous unmanned helicopter.
