In Jerusalem, approximately 90,000 people prayed the first Friday prayer of Ramadan at Al-Aqsa Mosque under the shadow of Israeli restrictions. Due to the restrictions, only men over the age of 55, women over the age of 50, and children under the age of 12 were allowed to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Palestinians flocked to Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of East Jerusalem, which is under occupation, to perform the first Friday prayer of Ramadan.

Israeli restrictions limited access to Al-Aqsa Mosque to only men over 55, women over 50, and children under 12.

Palestinians passed through Israeli checkpoints to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Muslims who were prevented from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque performed the Friday prayer at nearby locations, while 3,000 armed security personnel were stationed at Israeli checkpoints.

The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf Authority announced that approximately 90,000 people performed the Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
