The U.S.-based business magazine Forbes has released its 2025 list of global billionaires.

This year’s list, comprised of a total of 3,028 business people, sees American entrepreneur Elon Musk claiming the top spot with a wealth of $342 billion, thanks to companies like SpaceX and Tesla.

The founder of the social media platform Facebook, American businessman Mark Zuckerberg, secures the 2nd position with a wealth of $216 billion, while the founder of the e-commerce platform Amazon, Jeff Bezos, ranks 3rd with a wealth of $215 billion.

Larry Ellison, the co-founder and chairman of the board of the software giant Oracle, becomes the world’s 4th richest person with a wealth of $192 billion. Bernard Arnault, the executive chairman of LVMH Holding, comprising 75 fashion and cosmetic brands including Louis Vuitton and Sephora, grabs the 5th spot with a wealth of $178 billion.

Renowned as one of the most successful investors of all time, Warren Buffet sits at 6th place with a wealth of $154 billion. Larry Page, a board member of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, secures the 7th spot with a $144 billion fortune, while Sergey Brin, another board member and major shareholder of Alphabet, takes the 8th position with a wealth of $138 billion.

Spanish businessman Amancio Ortega, the founder of fashion brands like Zara and Bershka, lands in the 9th place on the list with his $124 billion wealth. The world’s 10th richest person is Steve Ballmer, the former CEO of the tech giant Microsoft, with a wealth of $118 billion.

32 PEOPLE FROM TURKEY

This year, 32 billionaires from Turkey managed to make it onto the list of 3,028 business people. Standing out as the wealthiest Turkish individual on the list, Murat Ülker, the Chairman of Yıldız Holding, ranks as the 639th richest person globally with a wealth of $5.5 billion. Selçuk Bayraktar, the Chairman of Baykar Technologies, is placed at 1,947th with a wealth of $1.8 billion, while Haluk Bayraktar, the General Manager of Baykar Technologies, secures the 2,110th position with a wealth of $1.6 billion.

MOST BILLIONAIRES IN THE U.S.

It is notable that the number of names on Forbes’ billionaires list has increased by 247 individuals compared to the previous year. The total value of the world’s richest individuals’ assets has reached $16.1 trillion. The U.S. leads with 902 billionaires, followed by China and Hong Kong with 516 billionaires, and India with 205 billionaires.
