It has been reported that in the Jabalia Refugee Camp in the northern Gaza Strip, 200,000 Palestinians have been living without food, water, and medicine for 12 days. According to a written statement from the Civil Defense Directorate in Gaza, information was provided regarding the situation in the Jabalia Refugee Camp. The statement noted that the Israeli army has been bombing buildings and infrastructure in the northern Gaza Strip, causing the Jabalia Refugee Camp to be deprived of food, water, and medicine for 12 days. The statement also mentioned that the bodies of dozens of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army are still waiting to be recovered and removed from the rubble due to the army’s ongoing ground operation and targeting of any moving objects. The statement from the Directorate included a statement saying, “Jabalia is being destroyed and subjected to systematic death.” Since October 7th, Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of approximately 42,409 Palestinians, including 17,000 children and 11,378 women, with 99,153 people injured. It was reported that there are still thousands of bodies under the rubble, and hospitals and educational institutions where people seek shelter are being targeted, causing damage to civilian infrastructure.
