A 13-year-old girl kidnapped from the Hammersmith metro station in London was subjected to rape by 3 individuals. In the horrifying incident that took place in September last year, 24-year-old Paul Maxwell kidnapped the 13-year-old girl with the help of two friends and took her to his own home. 3 perverts then sexually assaulted the unfortunate girl for hours. One of the rapists convicted of rape was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while the other two received 11-year prison terms.
“I WAS CAUGHT ALONE”
The 13-year-old rape victim who attended the trial said, “I have thought millions of times about what I could have done differently to change what happened to me, but I couldn’t find an answer. No matter what I did, the outcome would not have changed. Because these men had already decided what they would do when they saw me at the metro station. They caught me alone, I was very vulnerable,” she said. Detective Will Murphy thanked the 13-year-old girl for showing the courage to report the crime to the police multiple times. Murphy said, “It was a very challenging investigation, but with the help of my team, we were able to reach all 3 rape perpetrators. Hopefully, the victim has felt the power of justice in this trial.”
