In Samsun, new generation vehicles will be produced at facilities with an annual capacity of 200,000 by Chery. The scale of the investment will be $1 billion. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan awarded a certificate of appreciation to company representatives for the investment in a facility with an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles in Samsun. Following the introduction of Turkey’s 2030 Industry and Technology Strategy, President Erdoğan presented certificates of appreciation to companies investing in Turkey. It was stated that in the facility to be established in Samsun with an annual capacity of 200,000 vehicles, new generation electric vehicles and components will be manufactured for Chery stakeholders, and the project will include an R&D center. It was noted that the investment is planned to be $1 billion and will provide employment for 5,000 people.
